You will learn how to carry out and set up microscopic tests in terms of quality control and assurance in the application and practice-oriented PTS basic course “Quality control and assurance by microscopic testing of fibers, fillers and paper”.
In addition to theoretical basic knowledge, you can look forward to the practical structure of the course:
- Special methods of light microscopy (polarization, phase contrast, dark field, fluorescence)
- Scanning electron microscopy and X-ray microanalysi
- Methods for identification of fibrous materials and paper constituent
- Image analytical methods – Domas
- Microscopy of interfering or defective areas on papers, printed products and packaging product
- Sample preparation for microscopic examination
